Governors

The Twyford CofE Academies Trust is governed by a Board of Directors which is made up of Church of England representatives, the chairs of school governing bodies, elected staff representatives, elected parent representatives and the Executive Head Teacher. The Directors appoint people who are locally based to serve on the Local Governing Body for each School in the Trust.

The Ealing Fields Governing Body is made up of local Church of England representatives, elected staff representatives, elected parent representatives, co-opted Governors, a Directors' representative and the Associate Head Teacher. Currently the Chair of the Local Governing Body is Rev Sarah Guinness.

Before becoming CEO, Alice had been Executive Headteacher of Twyford CofE Academies Trust since 2012. She was previously Headteacher at Twyford CofE High School since 2002. She joined Twyford in 2000 as Deputy Headteacher then progressed to Acting Headteacher. Prior to Twyford High School she was Deputy Headteacher at Brentside High School, and previous to that she taught at Central Foundation Boys’ School in Islington and Maria Fidelis School in Euston. Alice was educated at Slough Girls’ High School, Leighton Park School and St Hilda’s Oxford where she read English.

Lucjan Santos

Acting Associate Co-Headteacher

Mr Santos joined the school in September 2017 as Head of Lower School, overseeing pastoral and behaviour systems. He qualified as a teacher in 2012 and joined the Twyford Trust as a Science teacher at William Perkin School in 2014. From 2015 Mr Santos was Head of Year and played an important role in developing the School to the point where it was graded outstanding by Ofsted. His passion at Ealing Fields extends beyond teaching Science to also instilling brilliant learning habits in all the students so that they can be successful in whatever they pursue beyond school. Outside of school Mr Santos helps to run a youth charity organisation by arranging Summer sports camps, dance classes and cultural youth activities within his local community.

Karl Woodham

Acting Associate Co-Headteacher

Mr Woodham joined Ealing Fields in September 2016 as Head of Mathematics. During his time at Ealing Fields he has taken on whole-school responsibilities for overseeing Curriculum and Assessment systems. He has been an Assistant Headteacher with Pastoral care responsibilities at both KS3 and KS4. Now Mr Woodham focuses his work on Curriculum and Assessment. He is passionate about ensuring our students achieve well academically but also sample our wide ranging extra-curricular offer, to broaden their horizons and flourish as individuals within our Ealing Fields Community.

Lucy Edwards

Lucy Edwards

Acting Deputy Headteacher- Pastoral

Ms Edwards graduated with a Physics and Astrophysics degree from UCL and then trained to be a science teacher in South Shields before moving to London to take up a role as Head of Year 7 in 2018. She is now an Assistant Headteacher in charge of Key Stage 3, including overseeing student transition from primary school, and PHSE and RSE provision. She is also a member of the safeguarding team.

Aman Kochhar

Acting Deputy Headteacher - Staff Development

Mr Kochhar joined Ealing Fields in September 2018 to the Maths department. He graduated with a degree in Financial Mathematics and started his career at Uxbridge High School in Hillingdon, where he took on responsibility for the quality of teaching and learning across the Maths department. In 2019 he took on the leadership of the Mathematics department at Ealing Fields and is now Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for Teaching and Learning. He also leads the training of early careers teachers across Teach West London and is passionate about supporting and developing staff to ensure quality teaching in the classroom.

James Salter

Assistant Headteacher - Head of Inclusion and SEN

Mr Salter graduated from Oxford with a History degree and trained as a History teacher at the Institute of Education in London. He was part of the launch team at William Perkin CofE High School, working there as a Humanities teacher and Inclusion Lead for five years. Mr Salter joined Ealing Fields in 2018 as the Head of Inclusion and has subsequently qualified to become the SENCO. His current role is Assistant Headteacher in charge of Inclusion and SEN, and he is a member of the safeguarding team.

Emma Dunford-Jones

Acting Assistant Headteacher

Ms Dunford-Jones joined Ealing Fields in 2022 as Head of Year 7, before joining the Wider Senior Leadership Team as Transition Lead. She graduated from St Mary’s University in 2014 and previously worked as Head of Physical Education at Bentley Wood High School in Stanmore, alongside leading PE across Harrow schools. She is now Acting Assistant Headteacher KS3 and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and is passionate about educational equity and ensuring that every student, regardless of their background or starting point, has access to the opportunities, support and teaching they need to succeed.

Russell Coombes

Acting Assistant Headteacher

Mr Coombes joined Ealing Fields in June 2019 as Head of History. He graduated from the University of St Andrews with a Master’s degree in Modern History and completed his PGCE at the University of Oxford in 2014. In 2022, he joined the Wider Senior Leadership Team with responsibility for Curriculum Leadership Development, before being appointed History Subject Lead for Teach West London in September 2024. He is now Acting Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for Curriculum and Lesson Mastery. He is passionate about working alongside teachers to create inclusive and ambitious classrooms in which all pupils are able to thrive and achieve their full potential.

Florence Glanfield

Acting Assistant Headteacher – SMSC and ITT

Ms Glanfield graduated from Glasgow University and trained with Teach First in South London before joining Ealing Fields as Head of Music in 2019, where she developed an interest in the SMSC life of the school through embedding our singing practices. Alongside this, Ms Glanfield designed the ITT Music curriculum and served as a QA Lead for Teach West London. She took on Wider SLT responsibility for Initial Teacher Training at Ealing Fields in 2024.
